Your Questions Answered

Can I register for as many classes as I want?

Sure! Come as often as you like. Of course, moderation is key in all things, so please don't overdo it!

Can I use my pass at both of your London locations?

Absolutely! Whether you bought your pass at the Downtown or Southwest studio, you can visit both!

What happens if I can't make a class?

If you register in advance for a class, please cancel ONLINE at least 90 minutes before class so we don't worry about you when you don't arrive as expected. Please do not call the studio — we may not be there to retrieve your message and we need our booking system (ScheduleHouse) to work its magic.

Is there a No-Show Policy?

No, but yes. Hee hee! You will not be charged a no-show fee nor will you lose a class from your pass if you are unable to make a pre-registered class.

One important exception: IF the class is full with a waitlist and you do not cancel online and in advance (you have up to 90 minutes before class to do this) and you do NOT attend, one of two things will happen:

One class will be deducted from your Class Pass (for 10-Class Pass, 20-Class Pass holders, etc.)

OR

You will be charged $20 using your credit card on file (if you have an unlimited pass, including the Intro Month, or are an auto-renew member).

Uh-oh, I'm running late for class... eeek.

Stuff happens — we totally get it! But no, we can't let latecomers in once class has started. It is essential we provide a peaceful and undisrupted experience for all. We cannot hold back the start of class for you. PLEASE plan your day to arrive in plenty of time for the practice you wish to attend.

Can I get a refund on a pass I purchased at your studio?

There are no refunds or exchanges on passes (no exceptions).

What is Elements Hot Yoga all about?

21 years ago, our Downtown location started as Bikram Yoga. Did you know that?

When Moksha Yoga branched out of Bikram, we were one of the very first Moksha Yoga studios to be established. We introduced hot yoga to London!

In 2013, our Little Sister Studio arrived in the southwest corner of town.

Then in 2018, Moksha rebranded to Modo.

Just as the Moksha founders did 20 years ago, we decided to spread our wings in 2024 and fly independently. And now, we are Elements Hot Yoga.

The only constant in life is change, right? We have remained steady as a rock through everything that has come our way, and we are excited for the future with our beautiful community. A place where you can strengthen and calm your body and your mind, whether you are a seasoned yoga practitioner or brand new to yoga.

We are here for you. Always.

What is Earth Yoga?

Earth Yoga is a foundational practice that follows the same sequence of postures each time you come to your mat. There is nothing fancy about it, and in that way, you will find that your body welcomes every movement. It makes sense in your body. You will be challenged and you will be calmed. As time passes and you get to know the order of postures, your practice changes: now it becomes more about being present in the moment, refraining from dropping into auto-pilot. Truly listening to your body each step of the way.

How hot is hot yoga?

Hot classes are heated to 39C (102F) with about 40% humidity. External weather conditions and the number of students in the class can have an effect on the temperature/humidity inside the room.

Reduced heat classes are set to 35C (95F).

Non-heated classes are about 27C (80F).

If you’ve never practiced hot yoga before, the heat of the room will feel quite new during your first class! But over time, your body will acclimate to the heat and you will begin to crave the warmth! You are encouraged to move through each class at your own pace, taking rest and water when needed.

I'm the least flexible person in the entire world...

Oh, we've heard that before! Don’t worry if you can't touch your toes or balance on one foot — flexibility and stability will come with time. You don’t have to be bendy to try your first class. Flexibility will increase the longer you continue to practice with us. It is called a practice after all... there is no such thing as perfection on the mat.

What is the minimum age to practice at Elements Hot Yoga?

The minimum age is 15 WITH a parent or supervising adult in attendance in class.

16-year-olds may attend solo after one class practiced with a parent or supervising adult.

Please, for the health and safety of your young ones, do not bring your children to Elements if they are younger than 15.

When am I considered a Senior at Elements?

When you turn 60 years old!

What should I wear?

Wear clothes that you feel comfortable in and are easy to move around in. You will probably sweat a lot, so lightweight, breathable materials that will absorb sweat and dry quickly are best. Shorts or leggings, a t-shirt or a tank top are all great options.

What should I bring?

You'll need a yoga mat and water for class. You might also want a mat towel, depending on how much you sweat. A towel will prevent you from slipping and sliding. You can always rent a mat or towel if you forget: $2 each. We have filtered water available at the studio, so BYOB — bring your own bottle and fill 'er up when you arrive.
